Mice were treated as in Fig. 6. (A) Immunohistochemistry assays were performed to measure Mmp2, Acta2 and Abcg2 expression (100x magnification). The positive areas were quantified by densitometry and normalized to LV-NC. (B) Expression of Acta2 and Col1a1 was determined by immunofluorescence staining. Acta2 and Col1a1 was revealed with secondary 594-labeled antibodies; nuclei were revealed by DAPI staining. The results shown are representative of three independently performed experiments.
