The 43 differentially expressed (FDR p < .01, > 1.5 fold ×) neprilysin and protease genes from analyses of Region × Cactus interactions. Most were upregulated in Baja California populations of Drosophila mojavensis reared on agria cactus (BC:AG), but a few showed increased expression in mainland populations reared on agria (SO:AG). All were identified in an enriched functional gene cluster by DAVID (Huang et al., 2009) with an enrichment score = 12.6 (p < .0001; Table S11)
