Chromosomal localization of bla_{CMY -2} in the relevant P. mirabilis isolates. (A) Whole genomic DNAs of isolates 34381 (lane1), 37665 (lane 2), 38327 (lane 3), 38368 (lane 4), 39165 (lane 5), 39175 (lane 6), 39193 (lane 7), and 39214 (lane 8) were digested with I-CeuI, and the restricted fragments subjected to PFGE. DNA fragments were transferred to a nylon membrane and hybridized with probes specific to bla_{CMY -2} (B), and the 23S rRNA gene (C). The arrows indicate the bands of interest.
