Naïve B10.S mice have greater proportions of PLP 139-151-reactive CD4⁺CD25⁺ T cells in their periphery than naïve SJL mice. (a) CD3⁺ T cells from naïve SJL and B10.S mice were stained with IA^s tetramers (PLP 139-151 and TMEV 70-86) after treatment with neuraminidase, and the tetramer-positive cells were enumerated in the live CD4⁺ population.
