Silencing of DNA methyltransferase 3A (DNMT3A) suppresses lung cancer cell growth and induces S-phase arrest and cell apoptosis in A549 cells. (A) Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis was performed to determine the expression of DNMT3A following transfection of siDNMT3A. (B-E) MTT assay was performed and clone formation, cell cycle and cell apoptosis were assessed to determine the effects of siDNMT3A on the growth and apoptosis of A549 cells.
