Significant retention of plasma radioactivity (dpm/mL, y-axis) over time after dose for up to 24 h (x-axis) was observed in normal (A) rats administered 10 µCi 41 PG-Tr (△), but not in rats administered 17 kDa PG-Tr (▼) or Free-Tr (X). Plasma retention of PG was not observed in diabetic rats (B). Each data point is expressed as mean ± SEM (n=5).
