Black dashed, gray solid, and black solid lines represent the BO signals ν without attention, with spatial attention to the left side, and with attention to the right, respectively. For all five stimuli, compared with the nowhere condition, spatial attention attracted the direction of BO toward the attended location and reduced the onset of the time-course for the BO signal ν.
