Each bar represents the mean titer of infectious virus recovered from skin implants harvested at day 14, 21, or 28 after inoculation; error bars indicate the standard error. (B) Mean titer of infectious virus found when T-cell xenografts were inoculated with rOka, rOka-gE-AYRV, or rOka-gE-SSTT and harvested at day 9 or 16 after infection. Inoculum titers were 2.5 × 104 to 7.0 × 104 PFU/ml. Significance was determined by Student's t test (P < 0.05).
