Table 2.

Cellular content of chlorophyll, carotenoids, glycerol, starch and protein and average cell volume of CCAP 19/30 cultures grown under 12/12 LD with different light intensities from 50 to 1500 μmol photons m−2 s−1 during the light periods. All samples were taken at mid log phase of the cultures and at the end of the light periods. Data are means of at least three experiments ± standard deviation.
