^aThe amount of virus released in pelletable form over a 24-h period was compared with the amount of viral protein remaining in the cells. Virus and viral protein levels were measured by immunoblotting with anti-p30^CA. The released/cell-associated ratio was set at 100% for wild-type MLV.
