(C) Knockdown of RhoA decreases the expressions of Cdc42, EHMT2, and SUV39h1 and increases Sox2 expression. Control melanoma cells were transfected with siRNAs. The mRNAs were then extracted for analysis of the indicated genes by qPCR. (D) H3K9 di- (me2) and tri-methylation (me3) levels in the promoter region of Sox2 quantified by the ChIP assay.
