PTX3 decreases TNF-α production and increases the ratio of Th1/Th2 cytokines in mice treated with polyenes. Bone marrow-transplanted mice, generated as detailed in the legend to Fig. 1, were infected intranasally with 2 × 10⁷ Aspergillus conidia and treated intraperitoneally with each single agent alone or in combination after the infection. The dosages were as detailed in the legend to Fig. 6.
