Corticotropin‐releasing hormone decreases total leukocyte numbers in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF). CRH (1 mg/kg), antalarmin (1 mg/kg), or dexamethasone (1 mg/kg) was administered by intranasal route 18 h after infection.
