The average number of receptors (second column taken from reference [21]) and the number of nanoclusters per μm2 (third column) allows calculating the average number of receptors per nanocluster (fourth column). Numbers are given with their respective standard error of the mean (SEM). For each experiment, three different roots were recorded using confocal imaging (n = 9). n = number of individual cells. Values are given ±SEM.
