Biochemical GTPase activation assay reveals HIV significantly activates Rac1 and Cdc42. Primary CD4+ T cells were exposed to CCR5-tropic HIV-1 or microvesicles for 1 min and then assessed for RhoA, Rac1, or Cdc42 activation using a small GTPase activation assay (G-LISA).
