Cell viability 24 h post-sonoporation treatment. Here, we observe decreasing cell viability with increasing pulse length and pressure. As expected, ultrasound exposure in the absence of PCCAs does not affect cell viability. Furthermore, the PCCAs themselves did not have a toxic effect on cells as evidenced by the high viability in treatment groups below the PCCA activation threshold (i.e., 125 kPa groups). One-way ANOVA was used followed by Dunnett’s multiple comparisons test to compare each treatment to the sham control. ***p ≤ 0.001
