With the patient placed in the lateral decubitus position, the right arm placed in 40°-50° of abduction and 15° of forward flexion and viewing from the posterior portal, the knotted medial row is observed. Beginning posteriorly, the mattress sutures are tied individually using arthroscopic knot-tying techniques per surgeon preference; in this case, a modified SMC sliding knot is performed, supported with 3 alternating half-hitches.
