Caloric consumption with respect to the number of calories fed is shown for control (filled circles), simvastatin (upward pointing filled triangles), SimRam (downward pointing filled triangles), and candesartan-treated mice (filled squares). The statistical significance of these data versus the weights of the control group is shown in Table 3; and discussion in Results. Shown in b are the body weights of the control (closed circles) and ramipril monotherapy (open circles)-treated mice (Fig. 1c). The ramipril-treated mice were not significantly different in weights or food consumption from the control mice at any time (Table 4; and discussion in Results)
