VAT, Standard-SEMAC, and Sparse-SEMAC with STIR contrast in a patient with total hip arthroplasties (Patient A in Table 1, same patient as in Figs. 5 and 6). The proposed highly accelerated Sparse-SEMAC technique significantly improves image quality close to the implant (see arrows at the acetabular cup) in approximately half the time of the Standard-SEMAC.
