Results from Experiment 2: Visual capture when localizing A within AV is robust and unchanged with repetition, unlike the ventriloquism aftereffect when localizing A2 after AV task, where auditory shift is small following a single AV exposure but increases significantly with 20 repetitions. Further, visual capture persists after a 10 s delay of dark silence. Data were calculated and plotted as in Figures 2b and 2c.
