Intron–exon structure of the UCP1 gene is shown (green blocks) according to two predicted transcripts (XM_005263206.2 and XM_011532228.1 with corresponding protein forms XP_005263263.1 and XP_011530530.1). Protein coding regions are shown by orange blocks, coding sequence of UCP1 gene is in reverse chromosome DNA strand. Position of XM_005263206.2 in genome is indicated (140,559,394 … 140,568,902 bp).
