Effects of apigenin on cell invasion. Cervical cancer cell lines (HeLa, SiHa, CaSki, and C33A) were seeded onto Matrigel-coated filters in Boyden chambers. After 48 h of apigenin treatment (IC₅₀ and IC₉₀ of each cell line), the number of cells present on the bottom side of the filter was quantified and expressed as a percentage of the negative control. The values are presented as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments conducted in triplicate. ^∗P < 0.05 versus the negative control.
