A 10×10×6 mm³ voxel was positioned in the spinal cord at T10 with the short axis aligned parallel the cord axis on all three orthogonal views (A). The water signal from the spectra with the filter gradient is shown at multiple values for the parallel probe diffusion gradient (B). The lipid peak at approximately 3.5 ppm is also shown and exhibited almost no change with respect to b-value. Integration of the water peak from multiple repetitions and b-values shows that intra-subject repeatability is improved with the addition of a cardiac gating trigger in addition to the respiratory trigger (C).
