Regulation by WT p53 and IL-6 in M1-t-p53 myeloid leukemic cells of genes that are preferentially expressed in different normal tissues. Genes whose expression in the leukemic cells was changed after activation of WT p53 or IL-6 (20) and that were differentially expressed in normal mouse tissues were clustered by using SPC according to their relative expression in normal mouse tissues. The minimal cluster size shown is five genes per cluster. Clusters of genes showing preferential expression in different normal tissues are marked as in Fig. 1.
