Table 1.

Summary Table with means and standard deviations of the IVIM parameters for the examined structures, as well as the measurement for the singular adenoma. The perfusion fraction (Fp) of the thyroid was similar to muscle and lower than in the CSF. Whereas the diffusion coefficient (D) as well as the pseudodiffusion (D*) of the throid ranged between muscle and CSF. The adenoma showed markedly different IVIM parameters (ie. lower Fp, higher D and D*) compared to the healthy thyroid tissue. The b-value threshold is given as median [interquartile range], the remaining coefficients are expressed as mean ± standard deviation.
