The four hoop conditions employed for the triad jumping task as a function of the symmetry of spatial jumping degrees-of-freedoms (DoF) available for participants in a triad. The triangle (3-hoop; top left) and hexagon (6-hoop; top right) conditions were considered symmetric as each participant had equivalent jumping DoF (i.e., every jumper had the same number of adjacent hoop spaces open; or not open in the case of the triangle condition).
