Induction of Cyp1a1 in mouse YAMC cells. YAMC cells were treated with different concentrations of 1,4-DHNA (A), 3,5-DHNA (B), 3,7-DHNA (C), 1,4-DMNA (D), 1-HNA (E), 4-HNA (F), 1-NA (G), 2-NA (H), 1-NOH (I), and 2-NOH (J) for 18 h, and Cyp1a1 mRNA levels were determined (in triplicate) by real time PCR as outlined in the Materials and Methods. (K) Western blot analysis. YAMC cells were treated with a single concentration of the naphthalene compounds for 24 h, and whole cell lysates were then analyzed by western blots.
