Methylation profile of these genes in disease tissue of Indian patients was significantly different from their normal counterpart, as well as from disease stages S1, S2, S3, and S4A of TCGA samples. Gene expression (fold change) of CD86 and CTLA4 showed significantly higher expression in OSCC compared in the adjacent normal tissues among Indian samples. P value ≤0.05 was considered significant
