FeTPPS reduces brain edema and infarctions following TBI. At 24 h after trauma were observed increased levels of water content in the TBI brain (A), while the treatment with FeTPPS decreased the brain edema (A). Brain sections (2 mm thick) were stained with TTC at 24 h post-trauma (B) to show significant reduction in infarct area (C) and volume (D,E).
