Reaction conditions: 1 (1.2 mmol), 2 (0.3 mmol), Acr⁺-Mes ClO₄⁻ (7 mol%) and Co(dmgH)₂Cl₂ (8 mol%) in CH₃CN (5.0 ml) under N₂ atmosphere, irradiated by 3 W blue LEDs at 25 °C for 24 h. The ratio of the isomer was determined by NMR. ^†Arenes 1 (2.0 ml) and CH₃CN (3.0 ml) were used. Isolated yields are shown. ND, not detected.
