The maximal photochemical efficiency of photosystem II (F_v/F_m) during cell transformation and astaxanthin accumulation in H. pluvialis grown in tubular photobioreactors. Samples were taken at predawn (6:00) and at midday with photo flux density (PFD) approximately 2300 μmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹ (12:00). Mean ± SE of five replicates are presented.
