Levels of secreted Aβ40 (A) and Aβ42 (B) in conditioned media from 72 hours of culture were detected with the V-PLEX Plus Aβ Peptide Panel 1 (6E10) Kit from Meso Scale Discovery. α-Synuclein SH-SY5Ys (αS), and β-synuclein SH-SY5Ys (βS) were tested, and β-amyloid secretion shown to be sensitive to treatment with α-secretase inhibitor TAPI-1 (50 μM) and γ-secretase inhibitor DAPT (10 μM).
