The genomic location of the transgenic reporters encoding red (DsRed), yellow (eYFP), and cyan (eCFP) fluorescent proteins are indicated by filled circles on the five Arabidopsis chromosomes (green bars). The FTLs covering nine different genetic intervals (I1a, I1b, I2a, I2b, I3c, CEN 3, I5a, I5c and I5d) used in this study are delineated with brackets. The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR) ‘chromosome map tool’ was used to scale the chromosomes and place the transgene insertion points on the physical map.
