Experimental design and sampling methodology. Seven sample categories were used for bacterial community profiling along the rearing trial, as follows. Rearing-water samples taken at 2 (2 W) and 34 (34 W) days after hatching, seabream larvae samples taken at 2 (2 L) and 34 (34 L) days after hatching, rotifers (RO), Artemia sp. nauplii (AN) and Artemia sp. metanauplii (AM).
