Total RNA was extracted from roots of rice plant cultivars Cotaxtla, Tres Ríos, Huimanguillo, and Temporalero grown in the absence (−) or presence of 200 μM Al (+) in the nutrient solution for 24 h. Relative gene expression was quantified using the log₂ from method 2^−ΔΔCt, and Actin (Os03g50890) was used as a reference gene for data normalization. The values are mean ± SE from three independent biological replicates. Different letters above the column indicate significant differences between cultivars evaluated (Fisher LSD test; P ≤ 0.05).
