Notes: Mice were treated with 0.1 mL of GW at 50 (A), 25 (B), 12.5 (C), 6.25 (D) and 3.125 μg kg−1 bw (E). The arrows indicate the RBCs infected with Plasmodium berghei at all stages of the parasite’s life cycle at the time of mice sacrifice: immature trophozoite (ring stage), trophozoite, schizont and gametocyte. Microscopic images were viewed at 100× magnification.
