Red circles show dredge sites of glass samples used for this study from the SO193 and SO225 expeditions. Yellow diamonds show additional dredge sites where low-Ti rock samples have been recovered and reported in ref. 4, and blue boxes show dredge sites where low-Ti rocks were recovered during the SO225 expedition, illustrating the large-scale distribution of low-Ti lavas at Manihiki. The contour lines denote depth intervals of 1,000 m with the thick black contour line showing a depth of 5,000 m below sea level. The map was created based on GEBCO bathymetry data65.
