Skin was harvested, and frozen, at either (a) 24 hours, (b) 48 hours or (c) 72 hours following application of TPA to the skin of WT, or CXCR2-deficient, mice. The tissues were then ground in liquid nitrogen, re-suspended in PBS and analysed using a multiplex cytokine and chemokine array. Data are plotted as the mean (±SEM) of one experiment undertaken in 3 mice, representative of two independent experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 as determined using Students T test.
