Recombinant PmtA (10 µM) was incubated with 0.75 mM liposomes with the indicated lipid composition for 30 min at room temperature. Then 10 µg ml−1 trypsin was added, and samples were taken at defined time points as indicated in the figure. Degradation of PmtA was analyzed via SDS-PAGE.
