The model used in this example has been validated in [29]. ($x_{\mathrm{c}},y_{\mathrm{c}}$) corresponds to the centre of mass of the fibre and a the radius of the beads. In this case without noise, the estimation of the general velocity $\mathcal{V}$ permits the evaluation of elastic properties using (3.5).
