Table 2.
Beta-coefficients (β), chi-squares (χ2), and p-values of the fixed effects (duration from the beginning of the question to cue and duration from cue to end of question) in three mixed-effect models are listed by row.
| Cue | Duration from beginning of question to cue |
Duration from cue to end of question |
||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| β | χ2(1) | p | β | χ2(1) | p | |
| UP | -0.28 | 10.5 | <0.01 | 0.48 | 11.76 | <0.001 |
| FW | -0.07 | 0.59 | 0.444 | 0.49 | 22.15 | <0.0001 |
| Q | n.a. | n.a. | n.a. | 0.65 | 34.47 | <0.0001 |
Chi-square and p-values were obtained by model-comparison (see Statistical Analysis; Bonferroni-corrected significance level: 0.016). The cues which were used for measuring the fixed effects and the response variables are abbreviated as follows: UP – uniqueness point, FW – the beginning of the final word, Q – the beginning of the question. P-values of significant effects are written in bold letter type.
