Myeloma cell lines were incubated with increasing concentrations of various drugs (0.001-10 μM) at 37°C for 48 hours. Apoptosis was determined by active caspase-3 staining and flow cytometry as described in the text. Abbreviations: EC50, effective concentration (50%).
