The species for which all data were taken from Koyabu et al.²⁹ are marked by an asterisk (*). Note however that for the onset of ossification analysis, data for Dasyurus viverrinus and Trichosurus vulpecula were taken from Koyabu et al.²⁹. For T. vulpecula these data were used in addition to data collected directly for this study. In addition, the most relevant clade names are included. The phylogenetic tree is scaled following the divergence times used for the analyses in Mesquite.
