Fig 1. Hsc70 is a binding partner of FILIP.

Fig 1

(A) An SDS-PAGE gel image of the co-purified proteins with a partial fragment of FILIP including the Herpes_BLLF1 domain fused to glutathione S-transferase. (B) FILIP binds to Hsc70 in vivo. Protein lysates were obtained from the adult mouse heart. Immunoprecipitation was performed using an anti-FILIP antibody, and blots were probed with an anti-Hsc70 antibody. (C) The Herpes_BLLF1 domain of FILIP is responsible for binding to Hsc70. The indicated vectors were transfected into COS-7 cells. Immunoprecipitation was performed using an anti-FLAG antibody, and blots were probed using an anti-Hsc70 antibody. IgG, normal mouse IgG as a negative control.
