(A) Western blot assay showed the protein expression of RSPOs, α-SMA, nuclear β-catenin, and Collagen-I increased over time. (B) Immunofluorescence results were consistent with the findings of WB experiments. (C) The mRNA levels of RSPOs were significantly higher in the fully activated HSCs (day 7 and day 10) compared with the quiescent HSCs (day 1); and there's no significant difference in mRNA level between day 1 and day 2. (D) TCF activities elevated in the fully activated HSCs (day 7 and day 10), and there's no obvious change between day 1 and day 2. Data represents the mean of three independent experiments, and error bars are standard deviation of means. *p < 0.05 compared with the quiescent HSCs (day 1), **p < 0.01 compared with the quiescent HSCs.
