For each monthly model, predicted habitat use is limited to the scope of inference by averaging across the years when whales were tagged (see Table 1) and restricting spatial extent to the minimum convex polygon of tagged whales in the month. Months with poor predictive capacity for Beaufort belugas are not included (see Table 5).
