Table 2. Comparison of Hormone Concentrations in Response to AG and DAG.

Differences of Least Squares Means (LSM) comparison of plasma norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine between AG (1 μg/kg/h), DAG (4 μg/kg/h), and saline infusions in 10 healthy men and women. Differences of LSM comparison of renin and aldosterone levels with AG, combined AG + DAG, and saline infusion are also presented. No significant differences in NE, epinephrine, renin, and aldosterone were observed between saline control and peptide infusion treatments. AG and combined AG + DAG treatment significantly increased plasma aldosterone levels compared to control (p<0.0001 for AG vs Saline; p=0.0002 for AG vs Combined).
