Chicken feces were inoculated with bacteria in conical centrifuge tubes, and then, different amounts of FdCa (OH)₂ powder was added on them and mixed properly, kept for different exposure times, and then, the remaining bacteria were harvested by 10 ml of 1 M Tris-HCl. a) Reduction factor=log₁₀ (titer of control/ml) −log₁₀ (titer of treated samples/ml). b) Incubation times. c) Data represent mean ± standard deviation of three different reactions.
