The scattergram shows the negative correlation between firing rate of the cell on the left and the velocity of movement. B) An example of a strongly positive correlation between LDTg firing and velocity. C) Sensitivity of LDTg cells to egocentric behaviors was also evident when rats made 180 degree turns at the ends of the maze arms (T0). This cell responded during the turns made at the end of the maze arms.
