Release and purification of Intrepicalcin from fusion protein. After the hydrolysis by enterokinase, Intrepicalcin was released from Thio-His-Intrepicalcin fusion protein and purified by HPLC. The fraction elution time at 20.07 min, 42.15 min and 53.75 min correspond to the released Intrepicalcin, Thiorredoxin-6 His-DDDK and undigested fusion proteins, respectively. The collected fractions were further identified by SDS-PAGE. Lane 1: molecular mass marker; lane 2: The complete fusion protein purified by HPLC; lane 3: fusion protein cleaved by Enterokinase; lane 4: Intrepicalcin purified by HPLC after cleavage step.
